What you do

  • You are the contact regarding customs and you maintain close contacts with the responsible persons (logistics, master data, product management, ...) within the different divisions (Coating, Apparel, ...) of the Sioen group. 
  • You are responsible for the internal audit customs administration (checklists - customs applications), as well as for the application/follow-up of customs related permits (AEO, inward & outward processing, export licenses, ...).
  • You coordinate and train the Customs & Trade responsibles in the different divisions.
  • You advise internal departments (sales, product management, logistics, ...) regarding questions related to trade policy & compliance.
  • You are an active player within our Internal Compliance Program.
  • You support the master data activities (update of HS codes), as well as being the business owner regarding customs software.
  • You do the follow-up of customs related invoices.
  • You report to the CFO.

Who you are

  • You have a Master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience (customs) in an international production environment. 
  • You have knowledge of international transport (logistics - warehouse - road / sea / air transport) and customs in all its aspects. 
  • You are communicative, assertive, an organizational talent and result oriented.
  • You are numerically minded and punctual with an eye for detail.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office and have a first experience with an ERP package (preferably SAP). Knowledge of customs software is a plus. 
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
