What you do

  • Optimisation of production processes and products (in support of the Production Manager)
    • Machine occupancy time
    • Efficiency of working methods
    • Use of raw materials
    • Concentration of products within specifications
  • Implement and monitor corrective measures
  • Propose process improvements 
  • Writing work instructions, monitoring their implementation and training staff to implement them correctly
  • Participation in testing
  • Follow-up of transfer from R&D to production
  • Starting up new installations and training personnel to use them correctly
  • Maintenance
    • Follow-up performance of subcontractors
    • Selection of suppliers and materials

Who you are

  • You have a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics or Automation).
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in an (international) production environment. 
  • You are communicative, diplomatic and demonstrate the necessary persuasiveness and specialisation.
  • You are open-minded, solution-oriented and able to function autonomously as well as in a team.
  • You are hands-on, customer-oriented and can communicate effortlessly with colleagues, employees and various external services and interlocutors.
  • You are a motivator, a coach, and support employees where necessary.
  • You have a fluent knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

You are applying? Well, that’s great! First, your application is confirmed and then we start working on your CV.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
