What you do

As a QC Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing physical chemical controls according to predetermined test procedures on the products produced (both on interim and final control samples), taking into account the priorities agreed with the laboratory management and production. Some of your duties include:

 

  • Perform QC tasks in compliance with applicable safety regulations in lab and production environment.
  • Determination of corrections to be made by production in order to finish the material according to the predefined specifications.
  • Enter QC data into SAP, sign off production orders, print product labels 
  • Correct verbal transfer of pending orders/inspections at shift change.
  • Formulate proposals to improve release, measurement and inspection procedures. 
  • Collecting customer samples
  • Managing standards
  • Perform re-checks in case of complaints 
  • Collecting/sorting and stocking production samples
  • You work closely with production and R&D

Who you are

  • You have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent through experience
  • You have experience in a similar sector or are interested in gaining more in-depth knowledge
  • You are able to work accurately and get energy out of it
  • You attach importance to order and tidiness
  • Knowledge of SAP is a big plus

You are applying? Well, that’s great! First, your application is confirmed and then we start working on your CV.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
