What you do

For our division Sioen Apparel (Ardooie), specialized in professional protective clothing, we are looking for a Sales Assistant.

Your main tasks/responsibilities:

  • You build a commercial relationship with customers and prospects and work in a team with the Sales Managers.
  • You process the quotation requests and the technical questions from customers.
  • You create the orders in the SAP system and manage the order book of the customers assigned to you.
  • You follow up on the delivery process.
  • You keep the price lists up-to-date.
  • You take care of the communication to customers in consultation with the Sales Director.
  • You will work closely with the internal services such as Logistics, R&D, Marketing and Operations.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level. 
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are administratively very accurate, well organized, assertive and stress-resistant.
  • You have a customer-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office and you have a first experience with an ERP package (preferably SAP).
  • You have a fluent knowledge of Dutch and German. English and French are a plus.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
