What you do

Als Logistiek Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige logistieke proces binnen het bedrijf. Je zorgt voor een efficiënte organisatie van goederenstromen, magazijnbeheer en transportplanning. Je werkt nauw samen met interne afdelingen en externe partners.

  • Dagelijkse coördinatie van inkomende en uitgaande goederen
  • Aansturen van de logistiek bediende en magazijnmedewerkers
  • Optimaliseren van magazijninrichting en voorraadbeheer
  • Opstellen en opvolgen van transportplanning
  • Onderhouden van contacten met transportfirma’s en leveranciers
  • Bewaken van leverbetrouwbaarheid en klanttevredenheid
  • Implementeren van logistieke verbeterprojecten
  • Samen met de milieucoördinator bent u verantwoordelijk voor het afvalbeheer
  • Zorgen voor naleving van veiligheids-, milieu- en kwaliteitsnormen
  • Samenwerken met sales, operations en aankoop voor een vlotte goederenstroom
  • Rapporteren aan de Operations Manager en deelnemen aan overlegmomenten

Who you are

  • Je behaalde een Bachelor of Master in logistiek management of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt minstens enkele jaren ervaring in een leidinggevende logistieke functie
  • Je beschikt over sterke organisatorische en administratieve vaardigheden
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen en kennis van SAP is een plus
  • Je kan vlot communiceren in Nederlands, Engels en Frans; Duits is een pluspunt
  • Je bent een teamspeler met leiderschapscapaciteiten
  • Je bent resultaatgericht, stressbestendig en analytisch ingesteld
  • Je hebt affiniteit met internationale logistiek- en transportwetgeving
  • Je beschikt over attesten ADR, IATA en IMDG (= een pluspunt) of u bent bereid dit te behalen

You are applying? Well, that’s great! First, your application is confirmed and then we start working on your CV.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
