What you do

  • Development of pigment pastes and decorative inks with a focus on optimizing performance and costs.
  • Preparation of test specifications for SAP and implementing cost savings for existing formulations.
  • Customer support (direct/indirect) and resolution of production issues.
  • Development of inks for new market applications.
  • Preparation of technical datasheets.
  • QC support and safety.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry and relevant experience. Knowledge of pigments, water- and solvent-based systems is a plus.
  • You have a strong analytical mind and are multidisciplinary.
  • You are results-oriented and demonstrate a practical, pragmatic approach.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office and have initial experience with an ERP package, preferably SAP.
  • You are administratively precise, punctual, and able to work autonomously.
  • You have fluent proficiency in Dutch, French, and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.

You are applying? Well, that’s great! First, your application is confirmed and then we start working on your CV.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.
