Trade Marketeer – SYNQ Workwear

What you do

1. Shop in Shop (SiS) & Sales Tools

You are the driving force behind our Shop in Shop requests: from the initial client request to order placement and follow-up. In other words, you coordinate the full rollout of our SiS: materials, planning, setup, and aftercare.
You also ensure that the necessary sales tools and POS materials are available so that sales teams and dealers present SYNQ professionally and consistently.
You proactively think along with the client: how can the in-store brand experience be enhanced, which actions work best, and how can visibility be optimized?

2. Promotions, Campaigns & Events

You collaborate with retail clients to develop personalized actions and promotions that align with the brand strategy.
You support partners during events or open days and help determine the right approach and communication.
You coordinate all requests and ensure timely delivery and correct execution.
You maintain close contact with internal team members, external partners, and suppliers for the development of promotional materials.

3. Partnerships & Client Requests

You are the first point of contact for clients needing marketing support.
You critically review each request: from advertisements and promotional campaigns to content for brochures and websites.
You advise clients and think along about how SYNQ can help them boost their sales and enhance their brand experience.
You look for joint growth opportunities and actively work on building sustainable partnerships.

4. Networking & Collaboration

You work closely with clients, external suppliers, and internal teams (marketing, logistics, sales).
You provide sales managers with clear guidelines on the use of activations and promotional materials.
You build strong relationships with clients and sales partners and serve as their reliable marketing contact.

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication or an economic/business-related field.

  • Some experience in marketing, trade marketing, retail, or event organization is a plus, but we also welcome enthusiastic recent graduates.

  • Hands-on, communicative, and an organizational talent with a keen eye for detail.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and maintain an overview, even when managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Client-oriented, flexible, and proactive, with respect for deadlines.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.

Introduction

If the evaluation of your CV was positive, you will immediately receive an invitation for a first meeting with the HR Officer, Talent Manager or Chief HR.

First interview

In the first interview, our HR staff and/or a direct line manager determine how well you fit in at Sioen. For some positions, we do some additional tests.

Second interview

For certain positions a second interview is necessary. This interview is one with your immediate superiors, colleagues and/or CEO.

Contract proposal

Time to dot the i's and cross the t's! Our Chief HR makes you a contract proposal and together you discuss the conditions it contains.

Congratulations! Now, you are one of our Sioen talents! On your first day, we will welcome you and get you ready for your first working day. Your colleagues will mentor you for the first six months.
