What you do
- With your experience in shopfloor software implementations, you will be part of the core team responsible for the further analysis and upgrade of the Shopfloor system of 12 branches within the group. You are closely involved in the analysis, development, testing and integrations/interfaces with SAP and industrial applications and hardware.
- You are jointly responsible for the further evolution of the software and the transition to web technology. You discuss the necessary functionalities with the business, pass them on to the development team, monitor progress and, after the necessary testing phase, you are responsible for the roll-out of the new features.
- You assist in the further professionalisation of the team and monitor the stability and performance of the application. You build good relationships with the various stakeholders of the different plants.
- You participate in the planning meetings, write the detailed analysis of the requested change requests and assist in support where necessary.
- By performing the necessary tests, you get to know the package better and are able to give the right adjustments to the development team.
- You work closely with the automation team and assist them in the further automation of our production processes. You have knowledge of terms such as PLC, Scada and Historian.
Who you are
- As an MES Business Analyst, you have a Bachelor or Master (IT) degree and at least 3 years' experience in software development, testing and deployment in an international manufacturing environment. Affinity with textiles is a plus.
- Required skills
- Basic SQL queries (MS SQL)
- Experience with MES systems (production/warehouse)
- Experience with software deployment - basic project management
- Collaboration with .net developers - agile development
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- You are able to communicate fluently with production managers, engineers and workers.
- You stay up-to-speed with the latest technologies and have a curious and inquisitive attitude.
- You monitor the quality of your own work and objectives. You call on experienced colleagues for the more complex challenges. In this way, you take ownership of your own development and assignments.
- You communicate clearly, transparently and are result-oriented.
- You have a no-nonsense analytical ability to reduce a problem to its essence.
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and French. Knowledge of German is a plus.
- You are willing to travel.
