What you do
- Define and implement production objectives and strategies for our Apparel plant in Tunisia.
- Organize and manage production processes, including planning, production, quality, shipping and receiving, storage, maintenance, etc., to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Lead the team with an open, accessible, and motivating leadership style, focused on continuous improvement of product quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and work closely with our union representatives to promote a constructive, open, and positive work environment.
- Develop and implement plans for production optimization.
- Manage costs and operational results, which you report to the COO & CEO Sioen Apparel (Belgium). Translate these results through our standard KPIs to local management to ensure excellent information flow to all employees.
- Lead strategic projects, including LEAN, ERP, IT, HR, Finance, etc.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
Who you are
- You have at least 5 years of relevant leadership experience in an international production environment (preferably in garment manufacturing / Tunisia). Experience with project management and managing change processes is a plus.
- You have knowledge of and experience with production planning systems and processes.
- You can provide technical support when needed.
- You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- You have excellent communication and leadership skills. You have the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate your team, as well as constructively communicate with unions.
- You are familiar with quality management standards and procedures.
- You have experience with SAP.
- You are fluent in Arabic and French. Knowledge of English is a plus.
